ED3MT (Version 2) package

The E3DMT version 2 package is a program library for carrying out forward modelling and inversion of magnetotelluric, mobile MT and Z-axis tipper EM data 3D.

Highlights

Many advancements have been made since the creation of the original OcTree code (E3DMT ). Hightlights include:

• the ability define electric and magnetic field receivers along arbitrary orientations

• being able to model MT, Mobile MT and ZTEM data

• joint inversion of magnetotelluric and Z-axis tipper data

• mesh generation for joint inversion

• implimentation of improved direct solvers and paralellization

• the ability to store factorization in RAM or disk
